The Better Negitoro (Minced Tuna) / ネギトロ
Pickup currently not available
We’re excited to introduce The Better Negitoro, a refined version of a product we’ve carefully sourced and improved over time. Our previous Negitoro, while popular, didn’t fully meet our expectations in terms of flavour and texture. It was made from Indonesian tuna, processed in Japan, and primarily supplied to restaurants. While it was good, we knew there was room for something closer to the authentic experience we had in Japan.
After continued searching, we found this upgraded Negitoro, and the difference is clear. Sourced and processed in Shizuoka, Japan, this minced tuna delivers a smoother texture and a cleaner, richer taste. It has the right balance of natural sweetness and umami, making it ideal for classic Japanese dishes. This is the kind of Negitoro you would expect to find in quality sushi establishments.
