The Kumamoto Green Melon isn’t loud or overly sweet. It’s more of a “first bite and you just nod” kind of fruit. The flesh is thick, soft, juicy, with a clean sweetness that builds slowly instead of hitting you all at once.

When you cut it open, there’s this fresh, light aroma that already makes you want a slice. And when you eat it chilled, it’s super refreshing!!

• Serving: Chill in the refrigerator for 2–3 hours before eating. The key point for determining ripeness is to gently press the underside (the bottom part) of the fruit with your finger. The best time to eat is when it feels just slightly soft.
