Kayanoya Dashi Stock Powder (Original)

There’s a reason Kayanoya Dashi is such a pantry favourite for many of us. It’s one of those must gets whenever you’re in Japan!

Made with roasted flying fish, dried skipjack tuna, round herring and ma kombu kelp, each packet packs loads of rich, savoury umami to your cooking. Think of it as your “just add this” secret whenever something tastes like it needs a little more ~oomph~.

Simply simmer a packet in water for miso soup, udon, hotpot or chawanmushi.

Our tip: Tear open the packet and sprinkle the powder straight into fried rice, stir fries, pasta or veggies. It’s an easy way to add an instant boost of umami to almost anything!
