Store Manager Note: It is no secret that we love Carabineros, but who doesn't? I've not had better prawns than Carabineros and Umibudo, until I've tried this. If you love an intense prawn flavour, this is it. It is Umami on steroids and it left us thinking about days after trying it for the first time. We really hope you try them (and definitely make prawn stock with the heads and shell!!!!!!!)

• Difference between Carabineros and this: They may belong to the same family but are different in flavor and texture. The Carabineros are intense and bold, whilst the Royal Reds are sweet and Umami. The Carabineros are firmer in texture and have more bite to them, whilst the Royal Reds are softer and an absolute delight!
• Note: These prawn shells and heads are naturally softer and limper than normal prawns. It is not a defect. Please enjoy them as is. 
• Recommended serving suggestion: pan-grilled with oil and salt, great for steamboats or steamed too! Prepare it in your favourite style.
