This tiny squid is a true seasonal gem. It only appears for a short window each year, and seafood lovers wait patiently for its return. Soft, tender, slightly creamy inside, naturally sweet with a delicate briny finish — it’s small but BIG on flavour.

And because it’s air-flown, you’re getting it at its peak~ Fresh, vibrant, and as close to Japan as it gets.

How to enjoy:

• Toss with ponzu, grated daikon & a touch of chili for a simple appetiser
• Dress with miso-vinegar (sumiso) for a classic Japanese style
• Lightly blanch and add to pasta with garlic & olive oil
• Serve over warm rice for a luxurious donburi
