Following the popularity of the Yuzu Tsuyu Shabu soup base, we were curious about how the Japanese are using the soup base other than Shabu Shabu!
We were then told that the soup base was perfect for making Zosui (rice porridge), typically made with the leftover soup from Shabu Shabu.

Some of them loved the porridge so much, they skipped the Shabu and used the soup just to make this Zosui!
The citrus in the savoury broth really whet one's appetite. We tried it ourselves and we loooooved how savoury and refreshing it was! Don't knock it until you've tried it~
It's simple and takes no more than 10 minutes to make something so tasty! It is also super economical.
