It's a common misconception that the best quality green teas are from Kyoto - well, they are - but the creme de la creme of teas actually come from Shizuoka.

The Maruhide Houjicha are a main staple in our household and Zairyo Office. Guests of ours have nothing but praises for our cold brew Houjicha ^^ Try it! 

How does it differ from other Houjicha in the market? It doesn't taste astringent or bitter if steeped for too long. (Don't you hate it when that happens?)
