- Kuromitsu is a Japanese sugar syrup, literally "black honey". It is similar to molasses, but thinner and milder. It is typically made from unrefined kokutō (Okinawan Black Sugar), and is a central ingredient in Wagashi (Japanese desserts), such as Mochi.
- You can add it to: drinks, cocktails, pancakes, mochi, milk and dare we say it -- milk tea!
- Shelf life: at least 10 months
- Once opened, keep in the fridge.
