Kinpira Gobo is a traditional Japanese dish made with shredded burdock root (Gobo) and Carrot, garnished with sesame seeds. It is first stir-fried, then simmered in a sweet, Umami soy sauce.

It is served chilled and it is the most convenient way of adding greens to any meal! You can serve this warm too if you'd like.

店長さん's Note: We love making this crunchy, savory and healthy root vegetable dish ahead of the week and serve on a busy week nights. Much like the Hijiki Nimono or Yasai Shira-ae, this is super handy for days when you just want something simple (but really lazy to make anything). We're super excited to have this developed as an easy way of adding some delicious greens to every meal, and we hope you'll like this too.
