Mini Konpeitō / 金平糖
Konpeitō is a traditional sugar candy that was first presented by a Portuguese missionary to Oda Nobunaga as a gift offering (sugar was very rare and expensive).
"Konpeitō is also the standard of the thank-you-for-coming gift which is given by the Imperial House of Japan." -- Source
